Synopsis

Among the sounds of the beach, a song in Basque from another era can be heard in the distance. It is a nostalgic song, longing for something, but what is it? In colorful Super 8, we move slowly between the gigantic vertical rock stratum of a geological setting. Coming from inside the stone, we hear three voices speaking simultaneously in Basque. They tell the story of a group of people who were trapped by a high tide that lasted thousands of years.

Synopsis

Amalia Holguín is a young Rarámuri woman who leads El Oasis, an indigenous settlement funded by the Mexican government and located in the middle of Chihuahua. It is home to more than 500 Rarámuris who were displaced from the Sierra by drought and drug trafficking. Amalia strives to maintain their culture and improve their living conditions, seeking independence from the mestizos and the globalized world.

Synopsis

On a planet in the Solar System, a remote robot explores a desert landscape in search of minerals and signs of life. Light years away, or perhaps only a few meters, humans search for the origin of life, the remains of a lost civilization or the village of their childhood, beneath the mountains of a landscape that levitates between Andalusia and Mars.
