This is not a story where great things happen, it’s more about a story of whispers and details that talk about how we plan ideas and thoughts on those things we create in our world. In this case it’s about a building that contains the stories and thoughts of all our characters. A story that takes place during one single day.
Few days before the opening of a new theatre in Barcelona, Sala Beckett, the director of the theatre, Toni Casares, and the architects Ricardo Flores and Eva Prats are talking around a scale model of the building. That’s how we discover all the details that are behind the remodeling of this building, that was born as a Social Club almost 100 years ago.
During a day, in this office, two men and one woman share ideas, silences, expressions, drawings, emotions and conclusions that they plan in that building, a remodeling work that they have been leading together. How is this building? How are they? 5 more characters complete this story: a former worker of the Social Club who remembers, a musician practicing, an actor improving some movements, a saleswoman who explains with detail how her doors work and a Viennese professor that wanders about a painting.
A poetical look inside the documentary cinema to talk about the value that our thoughts have when we build our world.
